i am going w a shackle flip in the rear to correct angles and am just going for springs in the front / have a 3/4 d44 and 14b to go under it .

any other questions or comments that i missed please post up

i currently have the 35 t-birds to go on but would like to go to about a 38-40 or so

cool i did no know that i could post pics as a noob if i can or if wanted i can try for more pics if it helps

i acctually want to narrow the nose and leave some kind of fenders. planning on the shackle flip w/out lift springs to give me about 4 total.. and runnin about a 38-40 . only want about that as i'm sure i can make most of the stuff that im gonna do with that amount of lift and tire and want to keep the c.o.g. as low as i can. i do think that im gonna make a tube/sheetmetel bed in the back

by the way are you refering to the rust in the pic in this thread or on the cardomain??

another thought that you folks might have answers too.. where can i find info on a snorkle setup (cheap is good) and on hydro assist thanks guys (and or gals)

i havent found the prices on the bds yet but i am having a hard time seeing where i would go wrong w/ the rc. front springs, stearing arm, shocks and a couple other little things for just over 300.. it came to like 450 w brake lines f/r, and nitro shocks shipped..

If you're looking for cheap, there is some 4" front springs, steering arm, and rear block for 125 bucks in the classifieds section here. I came very, very close to buying them all. I think you have to be a member (costs 25 bucks) to post in the classifeds section here, or send PM's.. If you want I can get you the seller's email address. I think he's on vactation for the weekend right now. He's on my yahoo buddies list.

78 burb, thanks for the heads up on the used stuff but i think if i went that way i would still have to buy shocks, and if i buy it new i get the shocks anyhow and have some warrenty on the springs, but again thanks for the heads up.

basher thank you for the post and your pics look good.. also looks to be enough flex for what i want and that is the same price everyone wants for the kit and most places drop ship from rc anyway so i'm thinking about just ordering direct..

thanks again guys and any other comments/suggestions are more than welcome..

edit: hey basher in your page the first pics dont look like as much flex as the later pics.. what did you do diff?? disco the swaybar or did the springs beak in or what? kina wondering

The first pics is the day after i put the lift on, the springs get softer after a while. The sway bar was tossed out when i put the lift on.

just thought i would throw a couple of more updated pics on enjoy.
more later depending on what we get done today.

ps the birds are temp till i can get better. (and the sooner the better)

it had a 350 turbo and 203 in it when i got it and we are just throwing in an old 350 for now. if that dont do well enough then i'm gonna try talking dad into dropping a 400 or 455 pontiac in there ( dad has many and knows a ton about them so i will have him give me a hand)
