The video is piss poor, he markets it as trucks are to high and you loose head room in the bunk area. I had a girlfriend back in the day that had one of those. Lets just headroom was never the problemYeah, I jumped through some of the video, the axle uses F450 stuff. If you really think you need it you could just buy a F450 or a 4500 to tow with. Guys around here tow triple axle horse trailers with bunk quarters all the time. Never heard of anyone having trouble towing horses with a 1 ton or bigger truck.
.Can you pull a gooseneck/fifth wheel with your k5?Backing a rig would be interesting.
I feel like the handling advantage of having the tongue weight of the trailer in the bed of the towing vehicle would be lost.
Another set of tires to wear out, go flat.
Turning radius is wider.
I don't see an advantage.
Why would i do that? Can you pull a gooseneck/fifth wheel with your k5?
Your just playing stubborn with me. You know the point I'm makingWhy would i do that?
Have a Dodge 3500 6.7 for that.
If the purpose of this gadget is to allow people to to things that are way too heavy using vehicles with inferior brakes, power, and handling for the task.. it is crazy.
That is a microscopic market. That's not my point either.
if you own a 7.3 power stroke excursion....
it would be better then a running gear.I'd like to see what would happen on slippery roads. Probably be as much fun as pulling a grain wagon.
