Any thoughts? Assuming the trailer is not a 5th wheel and big enought to fit both.
seriously tho, w/ stock vehicles i'd guess in the neighborhood of 12-14k lbs??

i thought the same as Jonny-K5, but more. give or take a few hundred pounds, i figured each rig to be in the 5k area, and a trailer that big, id guessed it would be in the neighborhood of 10k by itself... Hope you have ahelova tow rig!
ya, more i think of it, probly closer to 16-18k. i think you'd have to get a 5th wheel to tow that much weight. trailer probly would weigh around 6-8k.

Anyone towed their blazer and another truck??
I towed an FJ 40 to Moab last week and with my truck, trailer and cruiser it was 13,300 lbs. My truck weighs 6700, trailer 2000, so cruiser must = 4600. My 4X fullsize weighs 5700ish so total would be 12,300 lbs but I'm sure the trailer to haul them would be heavier.
I would not think that you would be able to tow that amount of weight safely without a 5th wheel/gooseneck and dual rear tires.A friend of mine tows a toyhauler loaded with a jeep and quads,which weighs in around 13,000 lbs with an Excursion and it can be a little squirrely.
There is no way an FJ40 only weighs 3300 lb. Closer to 5K would be a lot more like it.

A typical fullsize Blazer, especially if it's trail-prepped, if going to be around 6,000 lb. An FJ-40 is also relatively heavy for it's size, I've never weighed my basically stock '71 FJ-40, but I would guess it's well over 4k. That's 10k in the two vehicles, and I would think a trailer long and heavy enough to hold both would be at least 4-5k.
