On mine that is blanked off and the heater hose is taken off else where. But yeah, heater core.

NO, that is for the ac on the bottom. the thing on the top is a service port. those two hoses on the left side of the picture are your heater hoses, going to the heater core.

the two hoses...i thought one comes out from the intake manifold and the other comes from the rad...

but if one is supposed to come from the water pump and one comes from the intake man to the heater core, then what goes into the rad(top pass. side)?

You can run the heater core lines in many diferent ways. The most common is fromt he rear of the intake to the heater core, then HC to the rad. I would just block off the one in the water pump.

hey "southern speed"... whatd u use for brackets? every truck i go to at the junkyard has a different water pumps and a lot of brackets bolt to the waterpump....its hard to find any brackets.
