Can anyone advise which truck model doors can bolt up to a '71 Blazer. I am looking for some doors to cut a bit, and want to see which ones would be a bolt-on replacement.
Thanks

any 67-72 doors will fit. There were slight differences in the early/late ones IIRC but if you're cutting just grab some:waytogo:

The blazer doors include a reinforcement plate over the door striker latch so make sure to move that over from the old door.

Quick question.

Did every year have the reinforcement plate on the doors? I have looked at my friends and mine, both 69's, and they didn't have them. Though, they could easily be not the original doors on both.

Mine in the bone yard look the same.

Second question.

What year did they start with the anti rattle screw up by the vent window?

They may not have had the plates in 69. I bet it was one of those things that they discovered after the first year or so.

I know the screw is on 71-72, but not sure about earlier than that.

Mike, are you sure they are original blazer doors? I know many times people will make a set of truck doors into blazer doors and not move the plates. That being said it wouldn't surprise me if the didn't have them in 69 or even 70...
