89 with a 1 piece seal. I heard something about it being externally balanced... What tooth count is it?

Need more info on the motor... 358 a stroker that uses a 400 crank or is it just an over bored 350 with a 350 crank? The only Chevy V8's that are externally balanced are the 400 and 454 as far as I know. Unless you have one of those cranks you should only need an internally balanced flywheel/flexplate.

If your current flex plate came off that motor/crank before you rebuilt it, you have the right one. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

the 1986 and later 350's are externally balanced only on the rear.
