Ok I do not want a junk yard swap or to piece things together. I have 6 vehicles right now building on 2 and want something complete, easy to install and give my 72 blazer good manner on and off road. The engine is set up with good low end torque, it is a 350 with cam, headers, intake etc. I already have electric fuel pump and an hei distributor. What would you get for a cost effective and reliable set up?

I look at affordable fuel injection, howell, or other?

Not worried about being able to constantly adjust just want it in and working for years...

What timing. I'm looking for something too. Also not fond of the junkyard swaps. I know very little about troubleshooting those systems and don't feel lile trying to learn it right now, especially since I'm doubling up on classes.

Other options are an Affordable EFI system...about $900

Junkyard 5.3 swap = $1200 motor and $450 to get computer flash and harness reworked. Would still need a fuel pump, flywheel & shim, move x-member and grind on the engine x-member to clear the oil pan. You still have an old harness and the all the mods involved with the swap but the 5.3 has more HP and better MPG.

Buy that motor KTMOUTFRONT has..before I change my mind and buy it.

These are the cheapest options. I don't have $2200 that I want to dump on a FAST system

I am curious about the affordable system as well. The plan was to spend around $1000... The fast system seems like too much money, but I could swing it if it is really that much better.

I happen to know a guy that has a complete ready to go, standalone Howell TBI setup that is a three/four wire hookup. Chip has no emissions and is well proven.

There's also a motor that could go with it.
