tuning up my engine tonight. I need to know what is the proper gap on a spark plug for 1990 blazer 350 tbi?

any other pointers for a basic truck tune up?

any info will be great, not to sure what im really doing sadly to say!

I dont have that anymore, I ran into a tree a while back and had to get an aftermarket grile support and the whole bit.

I thought tbi was .035" I believe that is what tbichips.com uses anyway, maybe other reasons?

well, I put them at or around .045 give or take a little. Hopefully all goes well when I start her up in the morning. Vistiting the parents so I dont wanna start the truck up and make noise like I used to back in the day. They need their rest lol

OEM Spec on truck TBI is .035. Calif trucks may spec .045. Because of stricter emissions. But I run mine at .042 with MSD coil. Seems to work best there.

Actually, the larger the gap is that the plug will still fire is the best as it makes the hottest spark and helps to burn more of the fuel. I just took a look at my underhood sticker and spec for a 1989 Ca. blazer with a 350 TBI is .035" as you've stated. I still run mine at .045" and i'm also running a complete MSD system which is always a help as well.
