what grade gas do you run?

meh.

I just run whatever is cheapest. happens to be Costco gas since i work there it is easy too.

- '04 Tundra eats 89 Octane (Shell)...
J-spec, 4.7L-V8, DOHC, cold air intake, UniChip controlled, 80K miles.

- '88 K5 runs 91 Octane (Shell), but I also have a chip, a cam, and full MSD setup...
Tbi 350, mild cam, full MSD setup, Custom chip, 39k miles.
(Anything less than 91 makes my rig grumpy.)

- My '07 YFZ450 runs 91, w/ a fuel additive.
Stroked 450, high output stater, Dial-a-jet, 190 jets, blah, bla, blah... ;)

- '91 F-250 takes regular ole Diesel #2... :woot:
7.3L International, N/A (For now), pumped up 2.5 flats, cold air intake, 134K miles.

87-89 in the s10 4.3, it likes 89 more

blazer gets 87 unless I'm planning on towing the boat, then 91

Normally Chevron or Arco (two nearest stations, and Arco charges CC fee)

trx450r gets 50/50 mix of 100/91 :)
IIRC my RC airplane gets 15%, or was that 30% nitro :)

Premium unleaded in the Crew Cab and the blazer. Blazer likes Octane and the crew just gets better mileage on it.

Wifes car likes high octane, does weird stuff on low grade.

Wifes burban, just the cheap stuff in town, but I also get better mileage with premium on highway.

All my other street rigs gets low grade,

My race truck and jet ski run sunoco 110. Very crisp.

Alot depends on the motor and compression ratio. If I have something stock just going around on the street I'll run just plain regular. My '83 plow truck has a 9:1 compression or close to that SB400 so I usually put the mid grade in it. And have a few motors over 10:1 compression and usually run premium in those motors.
