rdn2's ROCKS....check out all that headlight/fender protection!

MAN! you have good taste. :D you will get a good ol' CK5 discount when I start selling them.....................someday hopefully soon.

When my truck gets built the fenders will be whacked out at the top of the wheelwell or maybe even up to the bodyline. Maybe integrate into an exocage too. I'll have to change the bumper design a little. :D

These are by far my favorite work!

I liked the 4x4 Iron bumper and almost bought one, but for the price I decided to buy my own tube bender and notcher. now even though there out of bussiness I can allways make my own if I wanted to. I went with my own design instead, dont like to really copy stuff. I will if its a good product design but I will allways try to improve it somehow. hense the fender protection.

^That is all the information you need to find the man who used to make those bumpers you saw in the review. DO NOT DEAL WITH HIM. Mine is a very long story and I don't fee like rehashing it AGAIN. Short version:

-I paid Fredd $762 for that bumper in the review.
-He did the same old run-around we here about all day long "it's shipping out tomorrow"
-I never received a bumper
-It took alot of research, a Pirate mob, and locking down three message boards to strike a deal between Fredd and I
-I eventually got my money back, over a year after I mailed it out.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MAN

Oh I almost forgot, I built my own bumper (with help from Mrk5) for less then $300...

Thats all i needed to hear. Sorry you had a hard time which makes me wonder why there is a product review for a vendor who practises shady deals with CK5 members? :doah:

Still like that bumper, just need to find someone to build it.

"Build the bumper, send me a pic of it built and ready to ship, I'll send you half the $ and the other half when it gets here". :D

That might help...

EDIT: When you're building/buying bumpers, keep weight, protection, and approach angle in mind...and of course looks :D

I wonder the same thing. It was Steve's decision to leave the review up and update contact information. Steve is fully aware of my situation with Fredd and has made his choice.

I really like both of those, if I would have had the money I would have gotten a 4x4 iron bumper back in the day. I love that look.

I keep old reviews up of companies that are out of business so people can see what WAS available and to get further ideas etc..

That looks great and priced right too. But I was not into the pre-runner style as much. what are the advantages of that bumper versus on like this one below? My rig is for hunting, outdoor rec and not neccesarily a daily driver..

I like that alot... I just cut my double tube rear bumper and put a roller fairlead into it.. was going to do the same for the front.. but when I get to that part of the project... Ill have to look at this option
