I heard about someone having The their vehicle's front wheels that are 4x4 axles stuck regardless whether they put it in 4 wheel drive or two wheel drive.

Just in case that ever happens to me on the road in my 1990 suburban V1500 is there a solution to unlock the front wheels in the front if their are ever Stuck and see the price blems later?

I am sorry, but I am not sure what you are describing. It sounds like a situation where the brakes are held on, only the front. But it the front wheel drive is working properly, it should make some movement of the front wheels.

If Auto hubs and you put it in 4x4 and did not put it in reverse after going back to 2 wheel, it will say in 4x4.
Auto hubs have to be driving a short way in reverse to get them to release. Now if the the front wheels are brake locked on front, they should skid forward or reverse in gear. Need to clarify your question. Header ask 1 question and the body of text asks another.

For your first sentence, some "newer" 4wd's may need a little movement to engage the front axle (vehicles with central axle disco, etc).

For the second sentence, I have no idea what you said there...

Lets say when the front wheels lock up , the rear wheels turn but the fronts don't. Even in 2H , 4H or 4L

So you're saying the hubs are locked but they're not being driven? If that's the case then you're looking at a transfer case issue (power not being routed forward) a driveshaft problem (power being transmitted but not making it to the diff) or a carrier/drive shaft/hub issue (power not making it to the wheels).

#1 locking hubs engaged or not, the front wheels should not turn with power in 2H.

#2 do you have manual locking hubs with a dial or do you have auto locking hubs (just flat with a "4x4" sticker)? If auto locking hubs, they are notorious for failing and not engaging the wheels.

Auto hubs

Auto hubs do not engage unless they have power going to them. So you won't have power to Them unless you're moving. They also disengage on their own and you don't have a choice if when that happens. So it is a easy swap to a dial manual hub and then you will know they are engaged.

UPDATE :

I just jacked the vehicle up, and took the passenger side tire off and turned the wheel by hand, the wheel was making the grinding noise until I when backward with the wheel and forward and the hub popped out" unlocking" and the noise is gone

This is when I took it out of 4 wheel drive to two wheel drive

I use the standard warns. I keep a extra internal gear just in case. They are meant to work as a fuse. It will break before a axleshaft in most cases. Much easier to change out a hub lock. I've never had a problem though.
