so i have had hydro assist for a couple months now and when i put it in we messed up the seat for the c clamp at the end of the box, i was using the cap tap method, top one worked great but the end one (jkw) kept popping out from time to time

blowing steering fluid all over my tech school parking lot is not pretty, especially for the second time

so, obviously i got pissed and i decided to get a new box, since this one was toast and tap it on the side, my end cap trouble had made me very mad, so i decided to run the top cap and one tap on the side, sounds like a great idea right

i took apart the orbital of the new box and tapped the upper tap

put it back together, put on the tapped top cap and adjusted the worm gear as i have seen explained

now, my truck turns to the right great, but when i turn left it struggles if at

theory : both taps are left or right style and only one turn is getting pressure

i plan on tapping the other tap in the box 2morro and rerunning my pipes, i sure hope that fixes it

i wanted to know what you guys thought it was? all i can figure is somthing i looked at was backwards or i mixed it up... i dont know

Yep, i think you have pressure at both hoses from the same side (left or right) instead of one left and one right.
