What is a good prebent dual exhaust system for a 1985 k5? Header back, perferably straight rear exit. does anyone make a prebent header back dual setup that exits straight back?
I've been looking for one that exits behind the rear tires for my '90 K5 for about a year now. Hope you find one. If you do let me know cuz I'm interested.
16528HKR that is the header back system from hooker, it's mandrel bent. google that part # and you will plenty of hits and you can also pick it up at your local auto zone and avoid the shipping cost.
if you are looking for the manifold back here is that part # 16624HKR
sorry niether of those are straigh rear exits but a good option none the less.
The dynomax one on summit says its a "split rear" exit. Heartthrob's "split rear" exits straight back but they only make one for stock manifolds. Does anyone know if the dynamax "split rear" is a straight rear exit?
Isnt having dual exhaust, straight out the back the worse place for fumes? If you have the rear window down i heard the exhaust rolls right back into the cab.. Plus you cant hear your exhaust as much, OR drive right next to the open driver window of the ****er that just cut you off!
straight out the back is the worse but fumes are bad anyway. I have the dynomax split side exhaust which exits out before the rear tire and fumes are bad with that. best bet would be to go with side exiting dual behind the rear tires.
