I keep seeing ads that say people want $4200-$4500 for a whole K30 because it is worth more parted out. I guess for me it isn't adding up. The front 60 is worth 600-800, 14ff is worth 150 to maybe 400 with a locker, Trans is worth 150-300 and the transfer case is worth 50-250 depending on what it is. The engine is worth 100-300 and the rest would weigh up for what 300-400? Even at the high end is this is along ways from 4k.

Bought mine for $1500 and sold the axles for $800, frame for I think $250 Utility box for $200

And got about $200 worth of scrap, don't really know because I scrapped other metal along with the cab parts

Still have the BBC and the th400 I swapped the mainshaft into my built th400 and used the np205

Also have the full 4" front and rear lift springs and some other assorted body parts

Now way in hell a pos k30 priced much over 2000 is worth your time and labor. If it was as easy as they say why wouldn't they do it

Not sure. I paid $1000? for my 79 K30, $2500 for my 82 K30, and $1000 for the last 79 K30 c&c. All ran and drove the last 79 being the worst. It is the only one getting parted out but I have a hard time paying over $1500 for one.

Mine ran and drove, I basically bought it for the round pattern np205

The cab was rotted out though

Paid $750 for running '77 K30. Body was completely gone but running 350/SM465/NP205 with D60 and 14FF. Bought it just for the D60.

I have parted out several and 2 m1008s. I have another m1008 and a mint k30 I'll be parting this spring.
1k for the 60
100 for the 14 bolt 500 for the cucv version have gotten 700 before.
200+ for the 205
200+ for good beds
I usually get around 2-3k for the k30 and 3-4 k for the cucv I'll let them sit for up to 6 months selling parts. I'm usually down to a bare cab by the end and get anywhere from 100-250 in scrap just depends on what's left and prices.
My last k30 was 550.00 rust and dent free:D

I've got one! An '87 V30 to be exact. And an '85 K30 also but it has very, very minor rust and 2 or 3 small dents. Does that count? Then theres an '85 M1008, too, but it has 3 small rust holes and some small dents. Everything else is real solid on it. Does that one count, too?
