What is \"free arch\"????

And what does it mean? Example: One lift has 3.48. The other has 4.25. How do those compare?

I believe free arch would be how much arch a spring has with no weight on it. A softer 4" lift spring would have more 'free arch' than a stiffer 4" spring.
