what is the difference between high steer and crossover steering

just the difference of where the tierod is located. just add an extra arm on the driver side knuckle and move it up and it becomes high steer.

Hi-steer is crossover, but uses another arm on the driver side knuckle to mount the tie-rod above the springs.

so you can get both arms out of the way. Do you get any benefit with high steer with crossover in the steering department or just less stuff to get hung up?
