what is the longest time....

[ QUOTE ]
Me and a friend started working on his truck one afternoon and I'm not sure when we were "finished", I fell asleep on an old bench seat and he fell asleep under his truck, with his arm in the air on a ratchet tightening up tranny bolts. He woke up when he dropped the ratchet that he was holding and it knocked him in the head /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

If you want to see long hours of wrenching, then join a professional race car team. When I worked for an NHRA Top Fuel Funny Car team, we would wake up at 7:00 AM and have a team meeting over breakfast. Then be out at the track by 9:00 AM. If we went all the way to the final round on Sunday, we would not be done until 1 or 2 AM in the morning.

i know all about thows hours, my dad use to wench for teams back in the 80's, do u rember ed jones the wheelstander? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

I have pulled some long ones. I have pulled some long ones trying to get trucks out of the woods too.

One time I was at a 4x4 event and it was like 3am. Lighting flashes woke me up in my tent and along with some loud talking half drunk idiots. I finaly realized the flashes wasfrom a welder and it was Robzilla's truck being welded on. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

i wonder how well the welds turned out?

hold my beer, i need to weld this frame together. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

I did like 3 12 hour days back to back, with just meal breaks. Well worth it, though, since I've been hammering my TH700 for years now.

The worst thing is to get to "the end" of all the long work just to find out that something doesn't work right. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif The problem does seem much more managable after some sleep, though.
