Does anybody know what the tourqe specification for the bolts (or studs) on the right side U-Bolt plate on a Dana 60? I am guessing it is about 75 Ft. Lbs, but I would rather not guess.

75 should work, I put mine at 80. Just go back and recheck them after a short drive. Oh and I stripped out both of my holes with just a ratchet before I eve started torqueing them, the cast iron seems to be very brittle. I just repaired them with helicoils and seemed to work good.

I tourqed all the front U-Bolts to 150 Ft. Lbs, and I started with 85 Ft. Lbs. on the studs, but the 150 Ft. Lbs. on the U-Bolt brought the studs up to 90 Ft. Lbs. I figure if a cast iron block can handle tourqe ratings of 90 Ft. Lbs, then so should my Dana 60 housing. Thanks for the reply.
