What is this connection (back of engine)

Doing some work and had the back of the engine exposed. Found this swinging around. Before I start tearing the harness apart can anyone ID it for me?

That looks like either the oil pressure sending unit wire or the coolant wire for the gauge to me. :dunno:
 
It is a single orange wire, about 22 ga. This is on an 87 K5 with 305, SM465, custom deluxe package.
 
Not reverse connector, that is there along with 4X4 sensor. This was not plugged in when I pulled the tranny down.
 
Only thing I see single orange wire is for automatic trans kickdown M40 but thats not what you have.

Wrong type of connector. Only things I can think of with that sort of connector (appears to be the same connector style as the old style 465 reverse switch) but one wire are the "high" wire for the heater, and the oil pressure sender. Neither seems likely though being orange/small diameter.
