what is this? evap line from tank...

This is apparently waht my evap line goes to instead of a charcoal canister... this truck was a diesel, could that have anything to do with it? I have never seen this before, but i have awful lot of pressure in my tank and i'm curious if this is the cause...

I'm guessing, since it's a diesel, that it's a water drain for the tank?

I've heard about them, never was sure if they were stock on the trucks or not. Apparently they had some kind of drain on the diesel car tanks.

i opened it up and a little gas came out... not really what I want dripping right above hot exhaust pipes... think i can just run that line to a charcoal canister instead?

I don't see why not, the EVAP lines were not high pressure or anything.
