What is this sensor called and what does it do?


I want to remove the ecm and all the wire harness form my blazer, but will still be using the intanke fuel pump, any tips?

That is the dual purpose oil pressure switch/fuel pump back-up switch. As long as there is 5 psi of oil pressure this switch will allow the fuel pump to run even if the fuel pump relay is bad.
