Theres a black square thing plugged into something on the top of my fuse box about 2 inches by 2 if i remember right. thought it was a fan at first. i have an 83 k5.

could be a big fuse or your flasher 
I vote for it being the flasher.
Might be the seat belt/key in the ignition buzzer too...

I had to replace the flasher for my blinkers in my '85 the other day. It was a round metal can about 1" in diameter. Take the black box in question out and see what doesn't work without it.

ahh, ok that makes sense because now that i put it back in the buzzer dosent work. knew i should have let it be, but it was blocking fuses i had to pull it. Im trying to get my back window to roll down and my dome lights working so i am tracing wires everywhere. thx 4 the info!
