yeah 465-205 10 spline combo looks to be pre 80 (fixed yoke)

btw 550 is way too much for that setup..imo

Yeah but it's craigslist so I wouldn't expect anything less.

The tranny could be a pre-1972 465 version with the cast iron bell that has two of the four retaining bolts that are reversed as compared to the 1973 to 1991 465's that came with the bolts all going the same direction in "K" series trucks. The 205 might be of a later model due to the front shaft that looks to have a Saginaw style C.V. joint that appeared around 1977 .
Check it out before you put money down - $550.00 is steep for such a common combo .
