I'm working on some wiring and would really like to move it but I'm not sure what it is. Looks like a vacuum line and the wires coming out of it go into the main wiring loom that's all taped up so I can't see where they go.

its some part of the electronic spark control if i remember right. My 83 has it and its not hooked up, never did figure out wtf it was for.

The is a manifold vacuum sensor used by your spark controller. When the engine is under light to no load and the throttle blades are closed or close to it, the engine produces a ton of differential pressure across the blades. That sensor picks as much up and increases the timing during those conditions.
