What pattern exactly is under the wood panel inserts on a 72?

I have only seen the scroll design. I don't know how to describe it. And of course you will have the holes from the trim retainers.
I haven't taken that many apart, though. But I haven't seen the standard "line" pattern under them, that I remember.

I put the insert panels in my '72 C10. I bought some used ones and covered them with leather that matches my seats. Just an idea if you ever wanted to.

Mine has the pattern and I didn’t really care for that. The wood grain sticker was peeling too so I wire wheeled it off to show the aluminum. Turned into brushed aluminum inserts
