i would think most of us are not driving our blazers and suburbans on a daily basis, what is your driver?
mine is a old 1986 toyota 2wd pickup, good mileage ,easy to drive, reliable and when it does need something it is cheap to fix,my wife hates the thing, wont go anywhere with me in it,in fact she refers to my toyota,my 1990 blazer and me as antiques:dunno:

This is my current 'beater'.

As fun as a go kart, gets 34 mpg on the highway, 27 or so in town. I usually get 2-3 weeks on a tank of fuel.

BMW 335i. 300HP/300TQ and consistently gets 28-29mpg

I drive an 03' Chevy Truck. All my vehicles aim my family are GM. Not for long though.

I currently drive an 03 Tahoe Z71 with a 5.3L just like this except mine has power extendable towing mirrors on it (Dad special ordered it that way :haha:) and very rusty painted bumpers. Great little truck, handles like a car and boogies pretty good.

Before it burnt to the ground I was daily driving my 2012 GMC Sierra 2500HD single cab long bed Duramax. I have a new 2014 to replace it (except this one is loaded with power everything while my last one was all manual) but I left it at my parent's place so they can have a spray in box liner and a gooseneck hitch installed. I still need to order a new headache rack and tool box for it as well then I'll bring it up here and start driving it instead.

2013 Peterbilt 579. Cummins ISX15 400hp, 13 speed. Averages between 6.5-9.5mpg depending on where I'm driving and how heavy of a load I'm carrying.

I DD my crew cab. 10-11 mpg around town, but I only go about seven miles a day so I can go three weeks on a task of gas if I don't have to take it anywhere else.

I did drive my Cherokee before selling it but it didn't get but like 12-13 mpg around town either.

Everything that I own is a "project"

Current dd is 85 short bed with 3/4 tons 33s, ls 4.8. Gets decent mileage on my 10 mile commute to work:D.

Piecing together a 77 half ton short bed with 31s, 305, and sm465 to use as a dd and work truck.
