What is "Zero Rate"

Newbie here...I keep running across threads that when refering to their suspension I hear the term "Zero Rate". What is that exactly.

1" Zero Rate Add a Leaves

This should help.

It's basically a spacer block to add 1" under your leaf springs if needed.

and gives you the option of moving your axle rearward or forward up to 1.5in

they also bolt into the spring pack like another leaf using a longer centering pin so they are safe to use in the front as opposed to a regular lift block.
