just wondering what killed my last th350? i was running 3.08 gears with 35s,it leaked all the time, and I think water came up in it after that (whoops thats deep!)mudhole
do you think the 35"s were to much stress on the tranny with the 3.08? i have 4.10's now

water could be most of the problem, the fluid smelled realbad,I lost all forward gears then reverse, before this the truck would not upshift.do you think the tranny got to hot and cooked the fluid?
this make me come up with these questions:
Is the stock tranny cooler stout enough for cooling?
will a breather line keep most of the water out of the tranny and transfer case?
and why were 3 of the bolts finger tight and one missing on the transfer case adapter plate? improper torque? /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

lol i would hafta agree with ya on that one. the 3.08's and 35's sure don't help. neither does water. well hell all of em killed the tranny. later.
