As I've been told they are from a 70's Suburban.
I'm quite sure with the pink one, it's a14bolt ff (like the one in my K30).

Not sure about the front axle though. Never looked at a non D60 8-lug axle so far. Round diff cover could be a 10 bolt, maybe .

Looks like an 8 lug 10 bolt to me. A D60 will have king pins and will have a place on the passenger side of the pumpkin for 1 u bolt and 2 studs instead of 2 u bolts to hold the leaf spring on.

thats gotta be a 3/4 ton D44 because the 10bolt never came with drive flanges and notice the rotor how its slotted.

Not saying your wrong, but my neighbors truck came with a 10 bolt with factory drive flanges. It had a 350/350/203 combo. I am not positive but I believe it was a 77 model.

That would be correct, and also the fact that he said it has a round diff cover.

Nope. 10bolts came with slugs. I have a 3/4 ton 10b on the bed of a truck right now with slugs.

10b's started in '77 and most trucks in '77, '78 and '79 ran 203's in automatics which translates to drive slugs. '80 used ALL 205's and had lockouts.

And what of the slotted rotor? Normal 3/4 ton rotor. Nothing special there.

I've never heard or seen a 10bolt with drive flanges...

What I mean by "slotted" is look just behind the wheel studs there is an open spaces in the rotor. I may be retarted but I've only seen that on D44s.

Thx for the answers!

I just want to clarify that I never saw the axles in reality. It's just the pic.
From what I can see, it is a round cover, therefore I guessed the 10b.

In a german forum someone is asking if it's worth to replace the axles on his K5 (10bolt front&rear) with these.
Not worth the sweat, imho.

If its a Dana axel then it'll have specific markings in the pumpkin. Look straight at the cover and look at each corner of the casting if you see any numbers it "should" be a Dana. Also look on the axel tube itself if it has any numbers punched into it to the right of the pumpkin then its a Dana.
