What kind of grease?

Hey, newbie here.

What is the grease of choice for Wheel Bearings and Suspension components? I am in the process of a complete frame off and currently replacing the upper and lower balljoints....amongst other things.

Hi Temp greese for me, not Marine application greese for disc brakes, it can't handle the heat.

I've been using maring grease in my bearings for years and have never had any issues.

There are some hi temp marine grease (what the heck is the plural of grease, grease's?) that can be used with disc brakes, but the old school standard stuff, from what I understand (I could be totally wrong) does not have the heat resistance necessary, and begins to brake down when used with disc brakes.

It was suggested to me previously to use Lucas Red & Tacky, anybody ever used it before?

The plural of grease is grease. If you have too much, then it's greasy

lucas products are good ****.... swear by them... have oil add's inmy motor and diffs, grease in the bearings, power steering additive in pump, octane boost in tank.. etc etc...

Morey's super premuim waterproof red synthetic grease. works great. it is the only thing i will use in the trail rig

i generally use the wheel bearing specific greases for the wheel bearings. lately i switched to the marine stuff for anything with a zerk.

totally on-topic....yall sure the plural of grease is not greases? I have two different grease on the shelf. or I have two different greases on the shelf. second sounds a lot more correct to me.

I tried some Mobil 1 Synthetic, cool red color, then I noticed it was seperating in the unused tub. Anybody have an opinion or know something about Mobil 1 grease.

No biggie Not like trying to tell people it's golf. Golfing isn't a word and I don't even play.

yeah i wouldn't say greases either, but i beleeb it is a word.
