What kind of hummer tires are these

Those look like the huge 52" michelins, but a mini version...?

Those are not hummer or HMMWV tires they are the 36 or 38? in Michelins. K10andykhamnic had a bunch for sale talk to him he knows all the specs they are what he runs on his K10.

i think they are 38s

they are close to that.... I measured an 11x16 on a trailer in the motor pool. It came out right under 40" but I wasn't being extremely accurate just getting an idea

edit: 11x16 is right around 40"...... now they may have totally f*'d up the size and those tire may be on a 20" rim in which case they are 48's or 52's but that rim is not a 5-ton rim I recognize.

edit #2: I just pulled up a pic of a LAV-25 and now I'm thinking that's what bolt pattern/hub its supposed to fit. Does anybody know what size tire those vehicles run?

We have bunches of those in our Army surplus store. A freind just payed about 75 buck a tire for ones with 75% tread on them. They measure 38" tall and are a 16" rim a serious pain to dismount they have a runflat insert in them. They are really heavy tires but I think they would last a long time on a truck. Just an intersting note we had the 16r20 in a while back too. 125 bucks for tires that were 95% there wish I would have had some money then

hmmm, I know those things would last forever under my crew cab. Anyone know what the weight rating is on those tires? and/or an apporximate weight per tire?

Look like LAV (Light Armored Vehicle) tires. It's an 8 wheeled assault vehicle with numerous variants. They have a 16 in. rim.

It's late and I'm just guessing, but those tire/wheels look suspiciously like SEE (Small Emplacement Excavator) items. Oh ya, a SEE is built on a Unimog chassis :wink1:
