what kind of sand

i will be renting a sandblaster/ compressor in 2 weeks-the guy says its a 300lb unit-hold 300 lbs so what kind of sand to use- I will be doing the whole underbody-suspension, frame, axle and anything else on the underside-not doing the body ant help appreciated

Black Beauty or Star Blast.

I would not use silica (playsand, beach sand) because of safety reasons. (silicosis)

I use the kiln dried sand from home depot. It is less than $6 for a 100lb bag.

I have use coal dust for sandblasting a trailer. My only experience. We bought a pallet of 50 lb bags
