What kind of tranny is this?

I have a 2wd tranny in my driveway that I plan on selling, I think it's a 4l80e but I'm not 100% sure. Can anyone tell me how to know the difference between a 4l60 and a 4l80?

I cant tell you that but I can tell you that theres a difference between the 4L60 and 4L60E why did it come out of?

i believe 4L60e is just a new 700-R4 cause they changed the names, and a 4L80e is a TH-400 w/o.d. - heavy duty tranny

I believe it's out of a 99 suburban with a 454, so it's probably a 4l80 but I was just wondering if there was a way to tell by looking at it. Maybe someone knows the measurement difference between the 4l60 and 4l80? Or some other visual identifier?
