What makes an imported car driver, a ricer? EDIT: is this rice?

Do you want your car to sound like it has a turbo without spending $5000 on an actual turbo. The Exhaust BOV installs on your exhaust tip and makes it sound like a BOV from turbo every time you accelerate and let go of the gas pedal. Sound will vary between engines and mufflers. Best results are produced on a 3 " exhaust tip.Works on virtually all exhaust tips, both stock (OEM) or aftermarket(may need slight adjustment). NO TIPS THAT CURVE DOWN. Universal.
 
That is a beautiful 240. I've always wanted to turbo one. I think a lot of people don't know that they are rear drive.
 
when I bought My suburban it had some 5"x24" exhaust tips on it which if you were to buy would cost around 40 a piece i wa sparked at sonic one night and ths kid offered me 100 dollors for 1 of my tips.....I couldn't find a hacksaw quick enough!!! he put it on a 4 door civic with an auto:doah: 2 weeks later his buddy bought the other one from me for the same price

Some people consitter any jap car as a ricer.
But I tend too agree with all the useless crap that coffee can exhaust tip, fart muffler, (How the hell can anyone think a farty sound is the sound of preformance ???) ugly giant do nothing wing, ... ect. I argued online with a Supra guy about being a ricer more over his dumbass statement that no domestic cars are fast, and you had too have a import too compete. I say he was the ricer, not the car, although he did totally rice it out.
 
I dunno about that red Supra.............You can see the radiator.:( I give it the big R..... Looks pretty Ricey to me.:p:
 
any jap car is a ricer to me. buy American. If it don't have a V8 it ain't worth messen with.

Took off the huge wing that comes with it, lightened it up a little, did a few mods and it now runs 12.4 @ 111 at 5800' with my pump tune. Soon to try a race fuel map with Meth injection, launch control, and 11's should be cake. My 02 Trans Am WS6 with 135 shot of nitrous did a 12.4 @ 112 so I'm pretty close to its HP. Even a stock 06 Z06 runs only 12.8 here in Denver. After 70 passes in the 1/4 mile (with hard 1.7 60 foot launches), I'm still on the stock clutch at 60k and no problems with the drivetrain. Was never a huge fan of imports but I sort of inherited this (long story). Whats nice is I don't have to park it for the winter. Front and rear lockers with AWD and Blizzaks does pretty good in the snow. If only GM would build an AWD car like this and capible of 11's with a few mods and gets 24mpg, I'd buy one in a second. I've had my share of Syclone/Typhoons but it would be nice if they did something like that again.

You need to think outside the box a little.. and stop being so narrowminded..

SHAWN im loving your STI.. my friend has a black 04 and hes itchin to do some more mods to it..

That "thing" you called a radiator is actually the intercooler... :)

Ok yea im trying to point him in the right direction but im more of a nissan guy and dont know much about these when it comes to the specifics.. :crazy:
 
95 eclipse

heres my 95 eclipse

running on 24 lbs of boost 115 octance and methanol injection and 125 shot of nos its make little over 680 at the wheels yes i do have the the dyno papers best at the track with me driving is a 9.89 and i do have the time slips runniing a pte 60 trim turbo, magnus sheet metal intake, 1000cc injectors and a couple other goodies... i went motor first then going to body body this summer:) yes its a GSX AWD

Wow thats a nice GSX. Any more pictures? Any issues with the 2G?

yea i got tons of pics.. its got a 4G64 2.4liter block with a ported and polished 1 g head with 1 mm oversized valves.. i liked the crower 414 cams, sounds mean... its the crate motor that www.magnusmotorsports.com builds it runs 11,000 without the turbo and add ons havent had any problems but breaking cv shafts
