what manual tranny in 2003 ck2500?

not sure if it's a 5 or 6 speed, but found a manual tranny from a 2003 chevy pickup with a 6 liter gas motor. anyone know what kind of tranny this should have? it's not in the truck, but still attached to the transfercase and the motor is right next to it. the guy wants $500 for the trans and t-case.

I don't know when GM phased out the NV4500, but if its a six speed it will be the ZF S6 650.

The ZF 6 speed was only offered behind the 8.1 and the Dmax. The 6.0 would have a 5 speed...not 100% which 5 speed that might be though.

Any particularly good reason why they stopped the Nv4500?

turns out it's a 5 speed, anyone know where i can get a bellhousing for the nv4500? the one that is attached is cracked due to a bad crash.

Either GM or Advance Adaptors, unless you stumble on a used one...

I have know idea what one it is, but for $500 i'd jump on it (for trans/tcase) and see what he wants for the 6.0L motor. All depending on condition of course.....
