i have my 1990 i have had for 20 years now,was my driver for 14,now it is now my third vehicle,my driver now is a 2wd toyota pu,and my wife drives 2003 grnd prix, the blazer just sits in the shop most of the time, but i try to drive it at least every other weekend, took it camping this last year, during the summer i use it to tow the boat, and during the winters it is always ready to go when the snow and ice hit, also just like having it around when my pickup or wifes car has a issue,i would imagine this may be a typical scenario for most of us,what do you use your blazer for??

I use mine for emptying my wallet... but once it runs and drives it will be for wheeling/camping/hunting and backup in case something happens to the dd.

My 72 fun one sits all winter and gets used usually on weekends in summer. I have a 94 I use as my daily driver. Gets much better gas mileage and us cheaper to fix if something breaks.

lets see.I gave the 1976 to my nephew so no more rubicon trips for me.Sold the 1988 to pay rent.

I`m down to the stock 1973 .i use it every night to get to the BLM area i run the dogs, take the dogs to the Sunday sociabull walks. And use it to drag the traps for pig depredation . I actually enjoy this 73 more then the other blazers. When we go wheeling in this one we get stuck at the worst. And don`t spend megga bucks on parts breakage.you would be surprised at how many spare parts you have when you have been owning blazers for 35 years or so. :D

I drive my 1970 Blazer on the street primarily. Hoping to get a cage in it soon so I can take the top off and enjoy doing some mild wheeling in the mountains this spring. I have two newer vehicles but for just putzing around town the Blazer is my favorite.

When I get mine (1974) painted finally it will be driven when the weather is nice...it won't be a DD but it will be a driver...it's kind of funny...I see it as my "new truck"...i've been sinking money into it as if I were making payments on a new truck...
It's my "I have always wanted one of those" things that came true...so I treat it as if it is a valuable collectible...it will make a trip or two up into the mountains but I don't ever intend to submerge it in mud or bash it on rocks...so I suppose it will be what they call a "mall crawler"...

I DD/wheel my rig.

Hey chief, don't you mean beach crawler.

Mine will be a weekend DD/ fun toy, boat puller, gophers prairie dog shooting rest, mountains elk retrieval system.

But with one project in front of it yard art for now.

Daily drive my Jimmy and use it for light wheeling. I also use it to tow

Horton ( whom is a pickup) is now specificallly for wheeling

my old k5 was my DD/weekend warrior for 2 years......it even thought about becoming a full time tow rig!
