What Rear axel

I looked at a 1967 K20 today, It has a axel ive never seen, It BIG and round. Thats about all i could make out the truck was parked in a kinda occward position, so i could crawl under there

Eaton rearend? Did it have a drop out third member?

Eaton rearend. 10" or so. Might even have come from the factory with a Detroit.

I couldnt tell if it had a drop out thrid member. all I could tell is that it wasnt a 14FF
