I am looking into putting some different seats in my 91. I would like to go with something leather and power. I have saw some pics of a K5 with newer model (96-98) leather tahoe seats. I was wondering if anyone else has done this? Does anyone know of any other seats what will work? Doesnt really matter to me what kind of vehicle they come out of just if they will work in my blazer? Are there any newer model seats that would bolt up directly to my stock seat frame? If I have to modify something I can do that also. Any ideas or recommendations will be greatly appreciated
Thanks!!

ive installed seats from 95-98 and 99-06 trucks into a couple k5's. 1/2 the stock holes will work. the other two you will just need to drill and add a spreader/plate between the two holes under the floor to spread the load.

ive picked up a all of the sets for under 250 a pair in great shape

Thanks supersize75k5! The blazer in question is the nicest i have and i was wanting to stay away from drilling holes in the floor if at all possible. Any other ideas or suggestions?

yes.

build a square frame out of 2x2" flatstock 1/4 inch steel. srill the hols in it so it bolts to you factory bolts.

where your new bolts for the seats need to be, weld all thread or weld an upsidedown 3/8 bolt on the square frame. the studs will allow the new seat to slide over them, and use locking nuts to secure them.

this allows you to remove it in the future. if you have ANY concerns on the welds use a cable strap to the factory bolts on the new square frame to the seat to have some piece of mind.

Yea i figured there would be a way to fab up a mount like that where I could use the stock mounting holes but wasn't sure how I should go about it. Your idea sounds like it wouldnt stick out and be too noticable or at least thats the vision im gettin in my head. If you come up with any other ideas or insight about this dont hesitate to let me know. Thanks for all your help.
