What shocks do you suggest?

Id like to get new shocks on my 76 K5 but dont know what ones to get. I dont do much hard core wheeling but do get in the dirt.

Im pretty sure I have a 4" suspension lift and I do live near summit racing if that narrows down my options at all?

I dont want anything complicated, I just want to buy 4 shocks and stick them on. I dont know anything about shocks so please explain exactly which shocks you suggest I get. Gas? nitro? I want to make this as easy as possible. I dont want junk though.

I have heard a lot of ppl recommend Rancho RS5000's as a good all around shock. Summit carries them I do believe.

Are those the model #s for the front and rear that I need?

Too late I got the rancho RS5000's, plus summit had a promotion for buy 3 get one free.

Not a bad choice, maybe try some Bilstein's next time round.....

The only thing wrong with rancho 5000s is they are valved stiffer and ride a little harsher than many other shocks. But other than that they are a good shock for the money.
If you like rancho RS 9000s are a lot better.

I looked on Blistens website and didn't see any part numbers for 5100's for k5's... who knows where I can get these?
