Should I sale it, use it for parts, or build my son the coolest high school rig over the next 6 years?

SF14 and 10 bolt 8 lugs. No engine and trans. No tailgate.

If he has an interest in it keep it! 6 years is a lot of time to build up a sweet rig. Plus he would have plenty of wrench time in on it.

I'm fixing up a 01 duramax with my son for his first vehicle, he bought it the day before his 13th birthday hes 14 now....it has been totally worth while!
Build it with your kid!
