I am pulling the engine and tranny from a wrecked '02 (I believe that's the year) F250 for a buddy. He just wants the Powerstroke and the transmission. Everything else is going to iron. I was planning on grabbing the front driveshaft, the front shock towers, and possibly the axles. Is there anything else I should grab?

How's the interior? The seats are worth a little money. I'd grab the axles as well. The rear sterlings are pretty strong.

The interior isn't great, and the seats are already spoken for.

SD tow hooks might be handy to have around. I've always wanted to find a good way to adapt them to our rigs.

any headlights, tail lights that are good, id rip anything off that people break and would check CL for, window motors, wiper motors, blinker assemblies... etc.

Does it have a 1350 CV on one of the drivelines? I have heard there is a super duty application for one but I've never seen it myself. The front axle yoke is probably a 1350 also.

I think the rear springs are like 67" or something. The main leaf could be used with some thinner short leaves to make a flexy yet durable spring pack if you wanted to run real long rear springs on something.

I think those have decent shock towers too, they're just not the same stamped ones that are talked about around here a lot.

Yeah, I had already eyeballed those. I was half way planning on taking them just to take them, but like you. wasn't real sure how a guy would use them.

The lights didn't make it, and it had a flat bed on the back. The front took the brunt of the accident. It rolled on it's side, and then slid down a bridge rail. Luckily for the driver it slid the length of the bridge rail, before it fell off into the ditch.

Well, I grabbed the axles, the driveshafts, tow hooks, shock mounts, wheels and tires. The rest went to iron. Brought $450 with hardly anything left of it.
