What should it cost?

I am looking for someone to put valve guides in my '86 305 SBC. The guy I talked to suggested a valve job as well. Made sense to me. By valve job, I assumed he meant clean, grind and reseat the valves. What is this going to run me? I am removing the heads and reinstalling them.

That's already nore than I wanna pay suprise. How hard are the valve guides to do? Any special tools required?
