just thought id as kquick and see if anyone knew..i could go out and measure them but its late and all...just wondering cuase i wanna go pickup some cheap speakers to replace them with, half the speakers dont work in my truck, and i jut want sound, nothing fancy lol

Crutchfield is a good site to visit becouse they can tell you what size speakers, where located, and what will fit or not for most vehciles.

it doesnt seem to help..hell they dont even list a pickup in there selection of choices for vehicles under chevy /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif!!

Ummm, don't quote me, but I've seen 4x6's, 4x10's, and 5x7's in regular cabs, and I could never tell which ones were factory since they were all replaced by the time I saw them.

Not positive about the 4x10's fitting factory, the guy I saw had aftermarket grills on them.

But according to the Cheyenne Pickup Parts catalog, the corner bracket was designed for a 4x10 with a grille over them.

So that's my final answer! 4x10's /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Oh yeah if'n your looking for cheap speakers that sound decent, I went to a salvage yard and got the 4x10's from a 97 Burb for $5.

They sound good to me for what I paid!

Just a thought /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
