I've seemed to lose mine, so what size are they to bolt up to a 208 case?

What size are the 4 bolts that hook up the frt shaft to a 208?

never been lock washers on one I removed /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif just removed one this morning

7/16" coarse thread grade 8. The ones in my 208 are 1" of threads. Mine didn't have lock washers either.

Mine never had lock washers on them either, and they always like to work themselve loose.
Jesse at high angle is the person that suggested the lock washers, that combined with tightening them as much as possible has eliminated them loosening completely.

never had them work loose, hell they are pain to get out. Lock washers sounds like a good idea though.

Don't forget to use a sanding block and 120 grit sandpaper on the flange on the transfer case and the driveshaft then clean it with some brake cleaner. The idea is to get some of the shear load off the bolts.
