What size bolts on EGR valve?

Damn fancy chrome valve covers hit the EGR valve so I can't get them off, this of course after I broke the seal! And I don't have the correct wrench to take off the EGR, what size do I need?

Wrench size is 1/2"

Thanks for your reply, but I think it's much smaller, maybe 3/8" But I think I may just buy a cheap import wrench set for under $20, I figure that way I'll have my bases covered, and I could always use more wrenches around the house.
