What size lift would you say my truck has

I got some Bilstein shocks over the weekend for a 3-4" lift and they're way too long. I assumed I had a 3" lift from the previous owner but maybe I'm wrong. The body mounts appeared to be stock height when I removed them and the body, and I didn't notice a large gap between the body and frame. These pictures are how I got the truck with 32" tires before I pulled it apart.

I need to purchase brake lines now but I'm not sure what to get.

Ok I measure 12.5" but it's just the frame no body or engine. Maybe it is stock height? Although I doubt it will squat 4" with the engine trans and body. The body is about 1000lbs but that's towards the center and rear. The engine was probably 750lbs with trans? I guess around 1000lbs with the NP203.

The offset on the steering arm is 4" from bottom to bottom of the two mounting points. Does that mean anything?

I just realized the shocks have one number on them and the box has another?

Hard to say for certain without weight in it. 12.5” is 4” lift. You may measure 11” with weight, for a 2.5” lift or so

Have a couple 4 friends stand on the bumper and try again

You'll never get an accurate measurement unloaded. Posting a pic of the front springs might help but again being unloaded the arch might be misleading.

2" lift springs look aftermarket but are basically flat.

I second posting a pic of the front springs.

yeah... it probably will

mine easily comes up 4 inches just pulling the motor and radiator, leaving the trans and transfer in the truck. I have skyjacker springs in unknown lift range though... not sure how the spring rate would compare to stock ones

Here they are.

I spoke to Bilstein and the place I ordered the shocks from sent me the wrong shocks... but they sent me the right box.

Now I just have to figure out if I need stock replacements or 3"-4" lift.

how wide are those springs? Is the motor in the truck in the first pictures you posted. When I looked at them I was on the fence if it had any lift in at all.
32 inch tires could go on a stock suspension, any mods to fender openings?

I agree, weird springs. They're definitely aftermarket, you can see the wide shouldered bushings plus the narrowing cut on the end of the 2nd spring (looks like a soft ride lift spring). My guess would be they are aftermarket stock replacement or possibly 2" lift at the most.

Are there any blocks under the rear leaf springs? If so measure those. Any part number on the rear springs? Would suggest measuring the center of the rear wheel hub to the fender lip. Rear will be less affected by the missing powertrain (must less so than front).

In the first 3 pictures everything is installed and running.
No the wheel wells were stock with no obvious modifications.
I'm confused when I look at pics of stock trucks they look quite a bit lower than my truck. Is it true that the stock tire for k5s was a 31"? I assumed a 2" or 3" lift. It definately sat higher than my 2011 sierra 3500 dually but the square fenders on the Blazer might have made it look bigger?

Screw it... I'm gonna put 3-4" lift shocks, brake hoses, etc in and if its not lifted when the engine and body go back on, we'll then its getting lift springs.
