I need to replace my tie rod ends on my dana 60. I have high steer. I bought the arm from the internet and it came with the TRE's.

How would I know what size to buy?

I searched and I have the part numbers but need to make sure these are the ones other than trial and error.

ES2101 L
ES2234 R

Ernie, are you gonna have to special order or does the store have them? I try to take the old part with me cuz half the time there's some kind of problem. Measure link center to center on TRE's, then take one off to go to the store. Oh, and don't drive that truck to the store. OR, just drive that truck over and compare the new part in the parking lot.

Yeah I think I am going to have to order the left TRE. Doesn't look to common. I am feeling the steering pretty loose. When I got home today I played with it a little more. I am going to try and countersunk the screws so it doesn't fall off when I off roading like you suggested Chris.

We'll see how it goes. Want to be read for Miller.

get some decent measures of it and check in a moog book if possible. I have spent some time in them at work and they are good and i have found alternative rod ends besides the common ones that are always mentioned on here. There is about 6 or 8 different length of each left and right hand thread rod ends that provide correct taper and 7/8" threaded shank. It may take a little searching, but i found a bunch of different ones in about 15-20 mins one slow night at work.
