Axle in question is 1/2 rear, 10 bolt. I need new ones, as I`ll be putting the flip in next week, and taking out my rear blocks....I`m also adding a 1" zero rate, so take that into effect...

I know 3" axle tube dia. and I believe 5/8`s thread? what about length?

TIA

Will you be using an overload leaf? And how many leafs do you have?
I have 10B rear also with 5 leaf 56s , no overloads, and will be putting in 1" zerorates with 8" ubolts. One side has 10" ubolts which I realized later that they were way too long, so I'll be cutting it down to 8".
I will be swapping to 14B and I'm hoping 8" will be sufficient.

I`ll be using a 1" zero rate, and the springs are stock, for a 90 Blazer...

Depending on who you get your shackle flip from they should be able to tell you what size you need. If you have no blocks and a stock perch, then it should be easy for them.

Well, I already got the flip, from DIY4X.

Does anyone know the stock size of the U Bolt on a 10b rear? and would I just add an inch to compensate for the zero rate?

8" should be enough, you'll probably come within an half inch of threads exposed. Ask around a bit more if you're still unsure.

What are the actual risks of re-using u-bolts? I've been doing reading on it. Every author mentions torque yield or something like it and don't do it.

Is there a risk of breaking, not holding, loosening up? I've got my shackle flip, zero rates as well and a set of stock u-bolts off another blazer. Just trying to find time to put on.

Yeah, that and there could be a hairline crack somewhere, and you wouldn`t know until it broke....
