I posted this earlier and I can't find it...if it has been moved please let me know where it is so I can follow it. I wanted to know what the rule was for tires and rims. Do 1250 or 12.5 go on 10" rims? Can they go on 8" rims as well. I was told that on 10" rims they look wider and squared and on 8" rims they look narrower. I have the BF Goodrich KO's 35 1250 15's and I'm ready to get wheels so the blazer looks great. What offset or backspacing (I'm sure which term) do I need as I have a 1990 Blazer 4x4 w/ 350 and a 4" Rancho lift on it. I don't want them sticking out 2 far and I don't want them rubbing...is there some guidelines or an article someone can direct me to so I can buy the proper wheels. Thanks in advance for any help.

you should put this in the garage section not the for sale section
i ran my 12.5 on my 8" rims kept the rims safe but left the sidewalls way out there:eek1:

I've run 33x12.5's on 8" and 10" rims. I like the 10" better as they keep the tread flatter. If you need rim protection and a narrower track width than 8" is a good option.

In my opinion 10 inch looks weird , the tire is forced shorter and the sidewalls bulge out .

8 inch looks really good with stockish backspacing and offset :

Thanks Pauly383...I now know where to post this topic. Thanks for the heads up and I was hoping to be able to stay narrower as the wheels are cheaper and I was thinking the rally rims or the original blazer rims I have for this truck.
