Redoing my oil cooler I have an -10 hoses now. The adapter has 1/2 pipe. It works but I can't stop it from leaking.
My old adapter is 3/8 pipe, this actually a gm part.
I can get an -10 to 3/8 pipe or I can switch to an -6, which the adapter currently has. Or go an -8, which will require the most ordering. BB23 crunch, so speed is a factor IMG_20230802_164311.jpg
Derale on left gm on right

I guess it depends on what your smallest restriction is. Probably no point in -10an
If your cooler tubes and adapters are 3/8”.
I like -8an which is supposed to be 1/2”.
I think that’s what most boats run right?
